BK centrifugal pumps with an open impeller can pump clean and contaminated water, water containing sand or solid particles, as well as liquids with weak solutions of acids and alkalis.

They are most commonly used for washing vegetables, fruits, and meat, cleaning glass containers, crates and jars, as well as for pumping wine, beer, and milk.

The wetted parts, casing, impeller, and pump shaft are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which allows pumping food-grade products.

The maximum temperature of the pumped liquid is 80°C.
