Impeller Pump
admin 2 16 июля 2026An impeller pump belongs to the category of positive displacement pumps. It operates on the principle of volumetric liquid transfer using a flexible impeller.
On the suction side, the impeller blades straighten, increasing the volume of the chambers between them. A vacuum is created in these chambers, allowing the liquid to enter the pump. As the impeller continues to rotate, the liquid is carried between the blades along the inner surface of the casing toward the discharge port.
The design of the impeller pump provides self-priming capability, gentle handling of liquids without significant mechanical impact, and the ability to pump viscous fluids containing soft or solid particles.
Suitable for pumping: shampoos, liquid soap, low-viscosity creams, lotions, fruit juices with pulp, grape must, berry purées, curd mass, honey, jams, yogurt, condensed milk, and other products.
The pump consists of: a casing, impeller, shaft (drive), suction and discharge ports, and a casing cover.
Applications of the pump include the food, cosmetic, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
