High-speed (turbine) agitators or mixers are devices that operate at relatively high rotational speeds of the working body (from 600 to 1500 rpm). The principle of operation of such a stirrer is comparable to the operation of a centrifugal pump – it creates a powerful radial flow, providing a high multiplicity of liquid circulation, its mixing and rapid dissolution of components.
The working body of such a stirrer is a three or four-bladed screw of a streamlined shape according to the "sea screw" type.
