Pall rings (Pall Rings) are the most common and well-known packing. They are made of thin sheet metal and have a special structure, with two curved holes with tabs inside the packing wall; each hole has five tabs. They facilitate liquid and gas mass transfer. Pall rings are designed to fill the working volumes of column and apparatus packing to increase the intensity of heat and mass transfer processes in equipment used in the chemical, petrochemical, oil refining, and other industries, as well as sewerage and water supply systems. Acid-resistant metal Pall packings are designed to fill the packing of columns of other heat and mass transfer equipment operating at temperatures from 0 to 120 degrees Celsius for acidic environments. The packing structure facilitates uniform packing, thereby reducing pressure loss.
