The Plastic Knitting Gauze packing was invented by Sulzer in 1975. It is also called Plastic Gauze packing. Due to its structure , it will largely improve packing's wettability and sustain high mass transfer efficiency under small liquid spray density. However, it is not suitable for the high temperatures and easy pollution blocked systems.
