The requirement to obtain ethanol of excellent quality with high technological indicators provides for the introduction of a chemical (CIR) washing system for technological equipment, which provides for processing with special solutions of the main technological equipment. Depending on the type of contamination, washing is performed with solutions of bleach, acids or alkalis.

The frequency of washing with solutions of bleach, acids and alkalis depends on many factors (the quality of finished products, technological indicators, contamination of surfaces) and should be carried out as necessary.

Flushing must be carried out in compliance with all the requirements of regulatory documents on labor protection and safety, using acid - and alkali-resistant containers, pipelines, shut-off valves and pumps.
