Peristaltic pumps of the HELIOS AS series of the Italian company FLUIMAC are used for accurate dosing of abrasive products, acids, viscous and dense liquids. Peristaltic pumps have a long service life and increased reliability. They work in self-suction mode. Continuous operation in dry mode. Quick and easy maintenance. The main working elements of a peristaltic (hose) pump are a hose made of flexible material and rollers that run over the hose and compress it. When rotating the shaft on which the rollers are fixed, the compressed section of the hose moves and moves portions of liquid from the suction part to the discharge part. The shaft and rollers do not come into contact with the liquid, which allows aggressive solutions to be pumped, hose materials must be selected in accordance with the pumped product. The feed is regulated by changing the shaft rotation frequency.
