DAB Active Driver plus flow frequency converter.
The Active Driver inverter is a pump control device that is connected to the hydraulic system, including a pressure sensor, a flow sensor and an electronic frequency converter. The Active Driver is installed at the outlet of each pump and regulates the speed of the pump to which it is connected in order to maintain a constant pressure despite fluctuations in performance. The water passing through the connected Active Driver Plus also helps to eliminate the heat generated by the internal electrical components.
The Active Driver starts the pump as soon as water production begins. The pump speed is regulated at the minimum level that corresponds to the user's request. This provides significant energy savings. In such an installation, the second and third pumps are activated in cascade (sequentially) when the first pump reaches maximum speed. The user can adjust the pump pressure using the + and - buttons on the Active Driver (usually all pumps are set to the same pressure level).
