Description
EMSE gear pumps of the EDP series can pump viscous liquids such as fuel oil, polyester compounds, caustic resin, oil, glue, mineral oil, gel, grease, chocolate, soap raw materials, glucose, quaternary esters, glycerin, rubber, wax, honey, molasses, oil and many viscous liquids.
The principle of operation: the movement of the gears creates a vacuum. As a result of this vacuum, the liquid enters the pump. The fluid-filled gear cavities are transferred to the outlet with the discharge pressure, which is developed together with the movement of the gears. Gear pumps operate in both directions. These pumps can be connected to a drive in a variety of ways. These include: direct connection to the drive by means of a coupling, connection to a gearbox, connection by means of V-belts, connection to a variable speed drive.
