Pumps for batch
After grinding the grain, the resulting flour is mixed with water in a dismembrator in a ratio that depends on the specified initial concentration of the mix (wort). Next, the batch enters the container for batch preparation. In it, the batch is heated to the required temperature with live steam with constant stirring with highly efficient stirring devices for the optimal action of enzymes (thermostable alpha-amylase). Next, the batch is fed with a centrifugal pump to the AGFO (hydroenzymatic treatment apparatus) for further splitting of grain starch to dextrins.
The pump adopts stainless steel centrifugal type with open or wide impeller to ensure stable and uniform flow. Pumps of this series are equipped with mechanical seals, operating temperature up to 120 C, the possibility of flushing with caustic for flushing general equipment and pipelines during disinfection. All working parts of the pump are made of stainless steel and are highly corrosion resistant.
