The pumps are designed for pumping dry and wet gases, and can handle a small amount of liquid. They are used in areas where a vacuum of 1013 to 33 mbar is required.
During pump operation, service fluid must be supplied to replenish the ring from the liquid and cool the pump (usually water is used). The pumped liquid can be reused after
gas separation.
The direction of rotation is clockwise when viewed from the electric motor side of the pump.
Single stage water ring vacuum pumps have the following features:
- capable of pumping out any gases and vapors;
- they are able to process a small amount of liquid together with gases;
- do not use oil and do not require lubrication;
- the pumped gases do not come into contact with the oils;
- require minimal maintenance and high efficiency;
- metal rotating parts do not come into contact with each other;
- the shaft does not come into contact with the pumped medium;
- they work with low noise and vibration levels;
- almost everywhere there is a suitable option for choosing materials.
