The magnetic separator is used to clean bulk materials from ferromagnetic impurities.
Magnetic separators (iron separators) are designed to clean bulk products from ferromagnetic impurities. The presence of ferromagnetic impurities in the raw material flow and its ingress into the process equipment leads to the failure and breakdown of this equipment, significant production downtime for repairs.
It is used at chemical, petrochemical, food, woodworking, pulp and paper, flour milling, cereal, feed processing, etc. enterprises.
The principle of operation is that the initial product with the set capacity is fed into the working area of the separator, where ferromagnetic impurities are deposited on the magnetic block located inside the housing. The separator is cleaned manually during a stop, while the magnetic block is removed from the housing.
Characteristics:
- installation location: vertical;
- productivity: 6-7 t/h;
- magnetic induction on the surface of the magnetic block at a temperature of 20°C is not less than 150 mT;
- product temperature: no more than 100°C;
- Separator cleaning: manual, with the product feed stopped;
- weight: no more than 275 kg.
