Provision of engineering services on performing energy and technology audit has been carried out by the following
stages:
1st stage – acquaintance with the enterprise and performing its investigation. The
engineering services have been performed at the place of location of UAB "KURANA" in the territory of
Lithuania;
2nd stage –
development of the report on performing energy and technology audit, presentation of the preliminary version of the
report;
3rd stage – correction of the preliminary version of the report based on the
results of its presentation to the personnel of UAB "KURANA".

Energy and technology audit allowed to form two main groups of the measures:
- Measures for increasing ethanol yield per 1 tonne of relative starch taken to processing;
- Measures for increasing enterprise efficiency.
Revamping of Process Sections of Distillation and Rectification, 2012

Project No1. Creating production capacity of deep processing of distillery dregs. The project target was to enlarge
the end product range by processing distillery dregs into a completely new for Lithuania product which is
protein-vitamin concentrate (PVC). PVC is used as an enricher of dry combined fees increasing its feed value. The
ecological problem is parallel solved - 100% recovery of distillery dreg is reached;
Project No2. Revamping of
process sections of distillation and rectification. The project target was to enlarge the end product range by
parallel output of rectified ethyl alcohol, the qualitative characteristics of which conform to the requirements of
alcohol beverage production.
