WM Vortex Oil Pumps are used for pumping lubricating oils, ethylene glycol, hot water, fuel without solid impurities, and other low-viscosity liquids.
The pumped liquid temperature range is: water +5˚C~+160˚C; thermal oil +5˚C~+200˚C; ethylene glycol -30˚C~+180˚C. This is possible thanks to the mechanical seal, which withstands high temperatures.
The pumps are supplied with mating flanges and gaskets.
The operating principle of a vortex pump is based on the formation of a vortex flow within the working chamber. The liquid enters the pump, is captured by the impeller blades, and gains additional energy due to centrifugal force and vortex motion. As a result, it is transported to the discharge outlet under high pressure.
